Frequently Asked Questions.

Booking A Class
We strongly encourage booking classes in advance. You may reserve class spots online through your account or through the Viva Pilates Studio app. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available, but classes can fill up quickly. You are solely responsible for booking and canceling your classes. Classes, instructors, memberships and pricing are subject to change without notice. Please check our website for the most current information.

What should I wear to a Reformer Pilates class?
Comfy workout clothes. Grip socks are required at Viva Pilates Studio. We like to keep things as clean and safe as possible. We have a limited supply of sizes/styles at our studio that you can purchase before class.

Is Reformer Pilates safe for everyone?
While Reformer Pilates is generally safe, it's important to consult with your doctor before starting any new workout regimen, especially if you have any underlying health conditions, injuries or are pregnant. Please make sure to share with the instructor of these conditions before your session starts.

I am working through Injuries, can I still do Pilates?
Yes! Pilates is a fantastic option if you are working through an injury. We highly recommend trying private sessions (one-on-one customized instruction with one of our highly qualified instructors), so we can share safety tips and help you with your recovery goals. Please reach out for more information about our private sessions.

If you choose to take a group class, for your safety please notify your instructor and give us a heads up on your profile so we can discuss the best modifications for you.

Tell me more about Private Sessions and Semi-Privates
These are one on on or two on one sessions that are booked by contacting the studio directly. These are great for members who are dealing with injuries, limitations or want to master particular Pilates exercises, athletes who want to focus on particular areas for cross-training and performance, or for those members who want a particular time and day that works best for them.

Late policy
Five (5) minutes pass the class time. After five (5) minutes you will not be allowed into class. This is to ensure you get the proper warm up to proceed a safe workout.

Cancellation Policy
To keep things safe and running smoothly, please arrive no later than 5 minutes after the class starts. Late arrivals won’t be admitted to avoid disruptions. If you're late, it’ll be treated as a late cancel (with the associated late cancellation fee) and your spot might go to someone else on the waitlist. Thanks for understanding.

Membership Upgrades and Cancellations
Yes, members can upgrade to a higher membership. For membership questions, please refer to your Membership Agreement or email info@vivapilatesstudio.co with questions.

Wait-list Cancellation
If you are waitlisted for a class, be prepared to come to class. If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to open that spot up for another client. If a class you would like to take is full, you may put yourself on the Waitlist. If you do not get a spot in the class, the session will be returned to your account (for packages or drop-ins). If a spot opens, you will be automatically added to the class and receive an email or text confirmation depending upon your notification preferences. This means that you could be added to a morning class in the middle of the night. To check your waitlist status, log in to your Account and click My Schedule. All classes have a 12-hour cancellation policy, so if you are added to a class from the Waitlist at the last minute, be aware the 12-hour cancellation still applies. The latest you will be added to a class is two (2) hours prior to the class start time. If you no longer want a spot in the class, you need to remove yourself from the Waitlist. No-show and late cancellation policies still apply if added from the waitlist to the class. We encourage you to get on the waitlist as cancellations happen often, but please be courteous of others who are also trying to get into a class.

Phone/ Content Use During Class
To ensure privacy and focus, phone use is prohibited during classes. Recording is not allowed to protect the privacy of all clients and members. Photos and videos may be taken before or after the session has concluded. Please be mindful of others in the background.
